PROBLEM WE'RE SOLVING
Soccer Skills School’s training philosophy is specifically designed to develop the skills that players from the United States typically do not get from team practices, or games.
Soccer players from the United States have inferior skills to those from Europe, South America, and even Africa.
There are several reasons for this, but the most significant is the difference in coaching that players from these other parts of the world receive.
In America, many coaches focus on winning games and thus structure their team practices accordingly by focusing on tactical team play. Players in the US are encouraged by their coaches and parents to develop their skills by playing as many games as possible and this has consequently brought about a culture where joining numerous expensive club teams is considered the best option for a developing player to enhance their skills.
NURTURE TECHNICAL SKILLS
We designed our training curriculum to nurture the technical skill development of players training with Soccer Skills School.
Each level (1-5) has specific skills that players in those levels will learn and demonstrate prior to moving up to the next level.
By clearly defining each skill being taught at each level our coaches are able to measure each player's development progress to accurately assess if they are ready to move up to the next level.
